Capitol Grounds

The Capitol Grounds is a well know place in Malaybalay city,Bukidnon. It is where huge events here in Bukidnon being held like Kaamulan Festival celebration. Kaamulan Ground which serves as an activity area and other outdoor activities. Capitol grounds is the best place to bond with your family and friends and where a lot of people socializing, have fun and play. Capitol Grounds were surrounded by many tall trees that gives cool fresh breeze of air that makes them more aesthetic. The capitol bench where you can stay to meet with your friends and relax. This is best place to people where they wants to be alone and just feel the relaxing beautiful view of capitol grounds along with the people passing by. Going down to the Folk arts. Folk Arts is located at the Kaamulan Ground in Malaybalay City, the capital of Bukidnon. Folk arts Theater, where some provincial activities and events are held. Bukidnon has 7 hill tribes namely the Bukidnon, Higaonon, Talaandig, Manobo, Matigsalug, Tigwahanon and Umayamnon. The Kaamulan Grounds is also called nature park in Bukidnon where tulugans (sleeping places) where you can stay all night. You can also find the Folk Arts Theater and the Bukidnon Tourism Office at the Kaamulan Grounds. The reason why a lot of tourists loves to visit the Kaamulan Grounds Bukidnon is because of the testament of Bukidnon’s rich in culture and fascinating mix of tribes. The Bukidnon Kaamulan Grounds where you can feel and appreciate the beauty of nature and the diversity of tradition. During the hot season starting from the month of February to April, you can witness the fascinating attraction of the flowering tree which called the Golden Trumpet tree. One of the tourist spots in Folk Arts is the Bukidnon Zoological Forest, where several different kind of animals are there such as: fish, lizard, boar, deer, lion, crocodile, snake, peacock, monkeys, tiger, and different species of birds. The zoo is open at 9AM to 5PM with an entrance fee of 20Php for adults and 5Php for children. If your children wants to play and enjoy their liesure time there is a playground beside zoo forest park in folk arts. When you feel hungry there is a restaurant there where you can order tasty foods.
